Introducing the redesigned Advanced Camera Cage Kit for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K!

The foundation of this Camera Cage for the BMCC 6K (Full Frame) provides protective armor for the camera body and allows users to secure different accessories to improve the camera’s functionality.

This updated version features a top plate that perfectly aligns with the 1/4″-20 thread on the top of the Full Frame camera body, while featuring a two screw connection on the bottom, which creates an incredibly secure three points of contact.

The Full Cage offers several 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receivers, an Arri compatible rosette and a NATO Rail while being impressively modular, as the right side arm module can be removed to become a Half Cage or L-Bracket.

The Bottom Plate provides several 1/4″-20 mounting points for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the DJI RS3 Pro.

When using the Half Cage, the bottom plate can be extended to support the Black Magic Design Battery Grip and includes a 15mm Rod Holder to use rod based accessories in the correct LWS alignment with the Battery Grip.

When not using the Battery Grip, the included 15m LWS Baseplate Type VI can be mounted to the cage which adds 15mm rod support and allows users to mount rod based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems.

The bottom of this baseplate connects to our Tilta Dovetails and supports various quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.

The Advanced Kit includes an Advanced Power Handle (Battery Not Included) which mounts to the left side of the cage via NATO Rail and features a 12V Micro DC Port (3.5/1.35mm) and an 8V USB-C port for powering the camera or other accessories.

The handle is also able to control Run Stop on the BMCC 6K via an included Run Stop Cable while the rotation of the handle provides flexible operation when shooting handheld.

Included in this Kit is the Xeno Top Handle, which mounts to the cage via a 1/4″-20 screw with locating pins and features a silicone padded grip, which makes handling more comfortable while featuring numerous mounting points for additional accessories such as a cold shoe receiver, 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.

The included 90 Degree HDMI Adapter attaches to the cage near the HDMI port which offers a secure connection that limits wear on the port.

The kit also includes an SSD Drive Holder that mounts via a 1/4″-20 screw with a locating pin, and allows users to clamp down on a Samsung T5 SSD drive for external recording.
